MASS METROLOGY & CALIBRATION

Tees Valley Measurement has steadily established itself as a highly regarded centre of excellence in the field of Mass Metrology.

One of the first such laboratories to achieve UKAS accreditation in Britain, the Micro-Mass Laboratory has improved its capabilities over the years and now provides mass calibrations from 1mg to 25kg to OIML F1 uncertainties providing direct traceability to the United Kingdom Primary Standards.

As a fully accredited UKAS calibration laboratory, Tees Valley Measurement are authorised to issue calibration certificates as part of the United Kingdom National Measurement System. Indeed, we routinely certify mass standards for several UK local Weights & Measures Authorities.

Calibrations are performed by experienced metrologists using the latest approved UKAS techniques. We also have facilities to clean, refurbish and calibrate larger more robust weights or artefacts up to 2 tonnes in our separate Macro-Mass Laboratory to OIML M1 Class.
